Today’s guest blogger is 9 year old Annikah Mishra. She wrote this letter to President Obama at the beginning of the school year. She’s been patiently waiting for a response from the President (checking mailbox every day) and has not been very happy with his slow response.

Dear President Obama,
My name is Annikah Mishra and I’m 9 years old starting 4th grade.
If I become the first lady President (which I will), I will definitely follow your path because you inspire me.
One of my dreams is to become the first lady President, but I am afraid Hillary Clinton might run and get elected in 2016. In 2040 I will be allowed to run.
Please mention this to her and ask her to be the second lady President (only if you can).
Do you have any big plans for America?
I live in Birmingham, AL.
If you take the O off Obama you are left with Bama—so go Bama!

Annikah Mishra is 9 years old and a 4th grader at Advent Day School. She has a younger brother, Adesh, who is 7 years old. Annikah enjoys sports (tennis and basketball), sewing, and art.
